Mr. President, here it's a local call.

The Israeli postal service sorts over 2 million
pieces of mail daily, and inevitably some of
those letters come addressed to God. Rather than
consign the letters to bins of undeliverable
mail, letters addressed to God are collected and
deposited at the Western Wall a few times a year.
Postal authorities consider the letters private
conversations with God and do not open them.
Letters come from all corners of the globe.

Prayer helps us in difficult timesand with
difficult choices.

Is God on your gift list? What would God
want?What do you give someone who has
everything?

Psalm 5014-15 Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call upon
me in the day of trouble I will deliver you, and
you will honor me. . . 23 He who sacrifices thank
offerings honors me, and to him who considers his
way I will show the salvation of God."

What is the gift to God in giving thanks? Our
thanksgiving reveals what we notice, as God does
much more than we ever notice.

What is the gift to God in our praise?Our praise
reveals what we understand about God, for God is
more wonderful than we can understand or express.

These gifts are gifts to God because they reveal
our love - how we feel about God.

This love for God is an important goal for
faithLuke 1025 And behold, a lawyer stood
up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher,
what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

Where to lookLuke 1026 He said to him,
"What is written in the law? How do you read?"
