• These materials are designed to help Year 5 and
  Year 6 teachers ensure their children make secure
  progress from Level 3 to Level 4. The CD focuses
  on aspects of mathematics that are frequently
  encountered areas of difficulty those bits of
  mathematics children find hard to learn.
• The materials are organised under the seven
  strands for mathematics set out in the Framework.
  
• They focus on the following cycle
• Review focused questions to help assess
  current understanding
• Teach direct teaching, practical activities,
  models and images,
• mathematical vocabulary
• Practise opportunity to consolidate
  understanding
