A popular county wide programme of free short,
regular walks led by trained volunteers and
graded to suit all fitness levels and abilities.

Walks take place throughout the borough, all year
round, on a weekly or fortnightly basis including
Sunday afternoons and during the summer on
Tuesday evenings.

finish in the pub for a drink and a natter - a chance to get outside in your local green
spaces and countryside helping to combat
stress, depression and anxiety - brisk walking helps reduce the risk of diabetes,
Alzheimer's, bowel cancer and can help prevent
osteoporosis, high blood pressure, stroke and
coronary heart disease
