Bonds
  • Current information
  • 2001 and 2003 two bonds were approved by the
    voters
  • Pierce has received 360 million dollars to
    construct new buildings on the campus
  • We are looking at the possibility of a 3rd bond
    from which Pierce will receive about 250 million
    dollars in additional proceeds

State Funding
  • Allocations are based on enrollments not on the
    size of the campus.

    the bond funds are stretched thin.
  • New buildings are being constructed and 55 year
    old buildings are being upgraded
  • Some building with be LEEDS certified and all
    will include energy sustainability programs
