  • Write several KP 1 statements that would be
    appropriate to use in this type of situation.

  • Bridge Building
  • Supplies 4 paper cups, 4 paper plates, 3 sheets
    of freezer paper, tape and ruler
  • Task Build bridge that is 10 inches high and 18
    inches long that can withstand rolling a golf
    ball across it
  • Time 20 minutes

  • Bridge Building Debriefing
  • Individually, complete team self-assessment.
  • Meet with your team. Appoint a recorder and
    spokesperson. Have recorder summarize teams
    comments as you answer the following questions.
  • Discuss each members self-assessment results and
    the meaning of these results in completing the
    bridge.
  • Was your group a group or a team? Explain.
  • Did anyone play a leadership role? Explain.
  • What made building the bridge as a team/group,
    rather than as an individual, more difficult?
  • In what ways did the team/group make the project
    easier?
