Hunger Banquet
  • Thursday, April 5, 2007. 6pm -9pm
  • Revere High School cafeteria

10 non-perishable food item or 15 5 (age 12
and under) 5 non-perishable food item
(students with ID)

Upon arrival at the Hunger Banquet, Guests are
randomly divided into three groups Poor, Middle
Class and Wealthy,
(based on world hunger statistics.)
The Poor will get a small portion of rice which
they will eat with their hands while sitting on
the floor in a refugee camp setting.

The Wealthy people will eat a sumptuous meal,
served in style with wait service
The Middle Class will have a basic meal, served
cafeteria-style
The purpose of the Hunger Banquet is to simulate
the randomness of hunger in the world, and to
educate people through a shared experience.

their tickets to someone else who is able to be
there. The purpose of the Hunger Banquet is to
simulate the randomness of hunger in the world,
and to educate people through a shared experience.
