    Juarez.

    faculty conduct periodic laboratory screenings to
    include but not limited to anemia, cholesterol
    and diabetes screenings.

CONCLUSIONS.
  • There is a high demand for EPCC health/nursing
    programs by students.
  • Health Occupations graduates are in high demand
    by employers to meet the health manpower needs.
  • Most EPCC graduates remain in El Paso
  • Health Occupations graduates have an



    economic impact on El Paso.
  • Recruitment and retention of faculty is
    difficult.
  • Partnerships are critical in keeping our programs
    up-to-date through advisory committees,
    affiliation agreements, and donations.
  • Emerging health programs and options need to be
    identified through community input to continue to
    meet community needs.
