Assessment
Each student will be served ten balls by the
teacher who is standing in the serving area just
like they would if they were playing a real game.
The students will be paired up and while one is
returning the toss by the teacher, the other will
be recording the score that I give their partner
who is returning the ball. The ball must land in
bounds for the person to be able to score a
point. Along with the product assessment the
teacher will also be recording the process. The
teacher must watch and see if they believe that
the students performed the processes during the
ten shots they are allotted they can check yes or
no for each process. If they believe that they
didnt perform each process the way it should be
then record a NO by the process that was not
correct. Each yes for the product portion of the
test is worth 2 points a piece and each yes for
the process portion is worth 3 points a piece.
Once you have scores for the first part and the
second part, add the two scores together and
thats what the students has made out of a
possible fifty points. If a NO is recorded
then that equals 0 points.
