African Culture and Tradition
  • Africa is considered to be the cradle of
civilization. It is the birthplace of humanity's
first societies. The people of Africa have a
diverse range of religions and customs, which are
mirrored in the many African cultural and
tradition they practise. A wedding ritual is the
most important cultural practise there is. These
events are engrossing not just in terms of
religion and theology, but also in terms of
family and society. In essence, they symbolise
the coming together of two families or clans.

Marriage in Africa Culture
  • African Culture represent the transition from
childhood to motherhood, despite the fact that
most African newlyweds are still children. People
in Africa are frequently married at the age of
thirteen or younger. Separation is frowned upon
in African culture and Tradition, and so occurs
infrequently. If a couple has major marital
problems, both families discuss them frequently
and come to an agreement. Marriage in China is
considered as more than merely the union of two
people, as opposed to the United States, where it
is seen as the union of two families, each with a
    stake in the partnership.

African Music and Dance
  • African music and dance were based on oral
tradition, in which storytellers used their
bodies as well as musical instruments to tell
their stories. African music is known for its
distinct rhythms, beats, and harmonies. Although
early African musicians were masters of a variety
of instruments, the beat is the classic African
instrument that keeps the pace and propels the
    dance.
