They decide this would help them.

Studies Notebook and your name. Use your
neatest handwriting.

On the second page of your notebook, write Table
of Contents at the top.

In the bottom corner of each page, write a number
starting with 1. Be sure to use the back side of
every page.

Now every time you add a new entry to your
notebook, go back to the Table of Contents and
add the title of your entry and a page number.
This makes it easy to find information.
