Personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as PPE, are worn to minimize exposure to hazards. PPE may range from pads and gloves to masks and shields. PPE are used in a wide variety of industries, such as manufacturing, chemicals, construction, oil and gas, food, and pharmaceuticals.
