Request for TOC report @ http://bit.ly/2yKXt6p Glucuronolactone are naturally occurring chemicals produced by liver from glucose and found in nearly all connecting tissues of human body. These are white odourless compounds having melting point range from 176-178° C and soluble in water. They exist in monocyclic aldehyde and bicyclic hemiacetal form. As glucuronides, they combine with toxic substances such as morphine and excrete them by converting into glucuronide conjugate. In addition, they can be derived from plant gums. The product is used in vitamin C synthesis and used for treatment of food poisoning, arthritis, hepatitis and hepatic cirrhosis. Government organizations such as Food and Drug Administration and European Food Safety Authority govern its intake and usage in energy drinks.
