Well, I was going to try not to discuss the exam
that was recently taken..
BUT, I CANT IGNORE IT!!!
Im very disappointed in all of you. However,
even though, I really shouldnt and its against
my teaching style, Im going to offer you a
chance to do extra credit.

I think the best idea is for you to work in
groups.
I would assign them, but I dont have time. So,
Ill let you pick. No more than 4 per group.
Each group needs to develop an original extra
credit project. Get to it!

I think we have come up with an idea for extra
credit. We want to do a trivia review game. It
could help the class, but we dont have to play
it as a class. It could be a fun way to review.
We could let you know the categories ahead of
time..

ever! Were going to make a video of us playing
jeopardy..chemistry style!! Its going to rock!

I really dont understand what was so wrong with
our idea for the extra credit project. I felt
that it was really well though out. What I really
dont understand is how you could approve the
boys idea yet not ours. They were similar except
for a few things.

Well, those slight differences made me change my
mind. I dont understand why you seem to be
getting that upset Michelle. Its not that big of
a deal. I mean, if you really are struggling with
coming up with an idea, I can just give you one.
Of course, you wont get as much extra credit
because you didnt think of it yourself.

We are perfectly able to think of an idea. Its
just that I still dont understand why you could
approve one idea and not the other. It just
doesnt seem to make sense really..

I specifically said that we didnt have to play
it as a class, it was just part of the idea. I
thought it would then make our project beneficial
for everyone.
Michelle, your idea would have taken up more
class time. That was a big part of it.
