Marching Band Uniform
  • Marching Band Uniform(s)
  • Super Hero themed costume
  • Black and gold needs to be in the costume.
  • We are performing songs from Superman, Batman,
    James Bond, and Austin Powers.
  • Be creative....

Jazz Band Attire
  • Black Blouse or Collared shirt
  • Black pants or knee length skirt
  • Black stockings/socks
  • Black closed toe dress shoes
  • Tie
  • be creative and colorful

Symphonic Band Attire
  • Symphonic Band Uniforms
  • Our new look
  • Black pants or formal length black dress
  • White tux French collared shirt (wings)
  • black vests instead of cummerbunds
  • long black ties instead of bow ties.
  • Black closed toed shoes
  • Black socks/stockings
  • Mr. Formal
  • 20 vest
  • 10 tie.
  • Pants and shirts vary by new, used, slightly
    used, etc
  • Mr. Formal will come to PHS and fit each student
    for vests

Choral Attire
  • Black closed-toed shoes
  • Women
  • Dress or skirts to be worn under robes,
  • not exceeding the length of the robe.
  • Long hair to be pulled back off shoulders (buns
    are preferred).
  • Flesh colored nylons only are to be worn.
  • Men
  • Black dress pants
  • White collared dress shirt
  • No earrings, jewelry, and/or hair bows that are
    visible!!!
  • The bottom hemline of the robe should be 11
    inches from the floor when the chorister is
    wearing his/her shoes.

Honor Groups

Tour
  • Students MUST be enrolled in TRI 2 in order to
    travel with the music groups and compete.
  • Students MUST be in at least two trimesters of
    the group they are performing with in order to
    qualify for tour.
  • The 2010 Music Trip is toDisneyland! ----
    Anaheim, California.
  • Chaperones will need to pay a subsidized rate of
    120.
  • minimum of 10
  • Dr. Johnson has the final say on who goes.
    Bribes and chaperone premiums will be accepted!
  •  
  • Student price not exceed 325 - depending on how
    many students go

Preliminary Itinerary
  • Leave PHS at 400 pm April 22nd, 2010.
  • Travel south for hours and hours with stops for
    dinner, other, breakfast.
  • Arrive in downtown LA at 1000 am April 23rd,
  • tour of the Disney Concert Hall.
  • Fun lunch (TBA)
  • Early afternoon
  • Arrive at Downtown Disney for shopping during the
    afternoon
  • 400 pm
  • Check-in to hotel, change for performances

Preliminary Itinerary

  • Go to competition venue(s), perform
  • Eat dinner at Hometown Buffet (or similar
    location)
  • included in price of trip.
  • Return to hotel for swimming, sleeping
  • April 24
  • Go to Disneyland at park opening (probably 900
    am)
  • Have a blast at Disneyland all day
  • (location of awards ceremonies)
  • Leave Disneyland at park at closing (probably
    1000 pm), get on buses and head home
  • Arrive PHS mid-afternoon, Sunday April 25th.

  • many meals that are not covered

  • Asking for donations
  • water and snacks for the buses.
  • We are trying to get a special lunch sponsored
    on the 23rd. If you are interested in helping out
    with this, please let us know.

Fundraising Opportunities
  • Applebees Breakfast Fundraisers
  • October 24rd.
  • This is before the deposit deadline
  • January 23,
  • well before the final payment is due.
  • We will be adding band and choir performances to
    the breakfast to increase the tips.
  • Some students paid their whole way last year with
    this fundraiser!
  • We are hoping to have other fundraisers as well
    and would welcome students and parents to
    organize these events.
