Goal 1 Expand AcTIC GIS Section

• Create an Arizona Tactical Asset Mapping System
• Combine GIS, GPS, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)
  and IT technologies
• Provide useful geospatial data and GIS features,
  including
• Interactive map displays
• Coordinated tactical real-time displays of
  tactical field asset locations (radios, officers,
  vehicles, equipment, aircraft, etc) during
  catastrophic events
• Customized map applications and data searches
• Improved Decision Support Systems capabilities

Goal 2 Develop and maintain an Arizona
Geospatial Clearinghouse

• Develop a robust Arizona GIS Enterprise Network
• Access, collect and develop highly accurate
  statewide geospatial basemaps
• Develop and maintain Core Framework Geospatial
  Data including
• Aerial photography (orthophotography) and
  Elevation
• Transportation Networks
• Ownership Boundaries
• Critical Infrastructure
• Other geospatial data as required
• Provide geospatial data and support to the AcTIC
  GIS Section
• Coordinate with Federal, State and local GIS
  organizations
• Support statewide critical geospatial needs

Benefits

• Provide standardized, accurate and timely
  geospatial data to support the AcTIC GIS Section
  and AcTIC Decision Support Systems applications.
• Provide and maintain a standardized multi-layer
  Core Framework geospatial database for use as a
  basemap to display field assets and critical
  infrastructure along with the Tactical Asset
  Management System (TAMS) in real-time.
• Realize cost savings of multiple State and local
  governmental agencies by accessing, sharing and
  utilizing geospatial data and GIS Services which
  they would have had to otherwise create on their
  own.

Benefit

• The more State and local governmental agencies
  that participate in the Arizona Geospatial
  Clearinghouse, the more geospatial data can be
  accessed and used in real time by the AcTIC GIS
  Section and for Homeland Security and emergency
  response needs of Arizona.
