Title: CICLO DI VITA DELLO STUDENTE
1 UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA
FACULTY OF MATHEMATICAL, PHYSICAL AND NATURAL
SCIENCES
2THE FACULTY
- The Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural
Sciences is among the most complex Faculties
within the University of Bologna because it
involves many different scientific areas
- Mathematics
- Physics and Astronomy
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Biology
- Geology
- Natural Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Science for Conservation of Cultural Heritage
The Faculty is composed of 409 faculty members
124 full professors, 128 associate professors and
157 assistant professors. There are about 5500
students attending the facultys 2008/2009

5MULTICAMPUS
Bologna has adopted a Multicampus structure in
order to permit the diffusion of educational
offering and the activation of a stabile research
activity on the premises with the intent to
better the functionality and quality of
university community life. The Faculty of
Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences based
in Bologna has courses also in the campus of
Ravenna and Cesena.
The Ravenna Campus represents a point of
excellence in the studies of preservation,
protection and appreciation of cultural heritage,
archeology, restoration on one hand and the
awareness of the environment and the promotion of
environmental quality, law, relations with
eastern European and Mediterranean nations,
