General Searching

• Select the General link when not looking for
  subject-specific information

  looking for subject-specific information

  will be taken to the Basic search interface for
  that discipline.
• Subject-specific links could be placed on
  web-based subject guides.
• Course-specific searches could also be developed.

• The top section indicates how many results were
  found.
• The lower section provides brief information
  about those results.
