Luke 2254-62

• 54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought
  him into the high priest's house. And Peter
  followed afar off.
• 55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst
  of the hall, and were set down together, Peter
  sat down among them.
• 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the
  fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said,
  This man was also with him.
• 57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him
  not.

Luke 2254-62

• 58 And after a little while another saw him, and
  said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man,
  I am not.
• 59 And about the space of one hour after another
  confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this
  fellow also was with him for he is a Galilaean.
• 60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou
  sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the
  cock crew.
• 61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter.
  And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he
  had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou
  shalt deny me thrice.
• 62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

Fire! Fire! Fire!

• During the SPIRITUAL LIFE of every believer he
  or she will found before the glowing coal or wood
  as in a dying fire of some spiritual flame.
• This is true of the NEWEST convert to the OLDEST
  member.
• There were THREE an example where Peter was drawn
  to fire.

THE FIRE OF REPROACH

• The believer can be drawn to the fire of reproach
• Luke 2256-57
• 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the
  fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said,
  This man was also with him.
• 57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him
  not.
• Philippians 215
• That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons
  of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked
  and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as
  lights in the world

THE FIRE OF RESTORATION

• The believer can also be drawn to the fire of
  restoration
• John 219
• As soon then as they were come to land, they saw
  a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and
  bread.
• The FIRE represents family and forgiveness.
• The COALS represents compassion and cleansing
• The FISH represents forbearance and fellowship
• The BREAD represents desiring and blessing.

THE FIRE OF REVIVAL

• Not only can the believer be drawn to the fire of
  reproach and the fire of restoration, BUT he can
  also drawn to the fire of revival
• Acts 23
• And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like
  as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

THE FIRE OF REVIVAL

• The tongues were not fire, but like fire
• The Holy Spirit coming upon the disciples.
• When He began to divide into many tongues of fire
  and to rest upon each believer.
• They were not receiving tongues of fire but the
  Spirit of God.
