King Herod Agrippa did what no man or woman
should do
He chose to accept their praise, and at that
exact moment an angel of the Lord struck
him. There is great irony in the fact that the
angels action toward Herod is described using
the same word that was used to describe what
happened to Peter in his prison cell.   They
both were struck by an angel (very likely the
same one) In Peters case it brought release
from certain death   In Herods case it brought
consignment to certain death

There is no one like God who deserves our Praise

• Only He created us!

suppressed?
It is Gods actual words and thus
indestructible 1 Peter 123 For you have been
born again, not of imperishable seed, but of
imperishable, through the living and enduring
Word of God

Indestructible?
1 Thessalonians 213 And we thank God
continually because, when you received the Word
of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it
not as the word of men, but as it actually is,
the word of God, which is at work in you who
believe.
