Olympus Mons

• Olympus Mons is the largest volcano in the
  universe.
• Olympus Mons is larger than the Hawaiian Islands
  and is over 20 times wider than it is tall
• Most of the volcano has a fairly gentle land
  slope.

Polar Ice Caps

• Mars has both North and South Polar Ice Caps.
• In the Northern Hemisphere winter, the Ice caps
  gain a seasonal of frozen carbon dioxide (dry
  ice) about three feet thick.

• The first Sand Dunes on mars were discovered on
  Proctor Crater in 1972.
• Proctor Crater is 106 miles wide.
• It is located in the Noachis Terra.
