Christopher Sprague
Selected Relevant Experience
- Procurement Strategy Developed a shared services
strategy and technology vision for one of the top
ten global organizations that identified ways to
achieve savings of 10 - 30 per billion of
procurement spending. These savings came from
price reductions, demand management and
administrative processes. - Procurement Multi Client Study Led study that
defined how organizations must transform
end-to-end procurement that will deliver
sustained benefits. The resulting procurement
maturity model identified five levels, key
requirements/level and trigger points to move
forward. This thinking has been used across
Andersen in selling and leading client thinking. - Corporate Strategy Led the executive leadership
team of then the third largest title insurance
company through a scenario based visioning
process that repositioned this company for the
industry transformation now underway. With a
clearer understanding of the changing industry
economies, senior leadership engineered a merger
with their next smallest competitor and are now
the largest title company in the country. We are
now involved in the post merger integration work. - Growth Strategy Developed a market segmentation
strategy that divided the domestic market into
four segments rapid growth, fix and grow, leave
as-is and rapidly exit. This effort relied on the
development and analysis of integrated internals
performance data with external market and
demographic data. - Operational Strategy and Plans Led the
development of a field office transformation plan
that used a combination of imaging, workflow
technology and the Intranet to streamline work.
These technologies provided the platform for a
five year field office consolidation strategy
that will reduce operating costs annually by 50
million while increasing the effectiveness of the
field operations and reducing policy issuance
cycle time. - Recent Publications/Lectures Mr. Sprague is
