  task forces to address AQ.
• EPD begins dialogue with three cities over
• 8-hour ozone standard.

• Augusta, Macon, Columbus AQ task forces meet
  w/ GA Tech each other.
• Three cities agree to informal alliance and
  request GA Tech to draft technical proposal to
  assess air quality.

• A delegation from three cities and GA Tech meet
  with Governor Barnes to emphasize need and to
  request funding for proposed study.
• GA EPD and GRTA review study at request of
  Governor and recommend in favor.

  to add FAQS funding to FY00 Supplemental Budget
  and FY01 Big Budget.
• HB-1162 (Supplemental Budget) passed by House
