Title: Lunch Box Analysis
1Lunch Box Analysis
2- How we analysed our data
- First we collected the data in a tally chart.
- We collected data from the whole school and we
typed it on Excel. - We used the data to make bar charts and pie
charts. - We looked at the charts and talked about what
children in our school eat.
3What we have found out Lower School Reception Rec
eption class are quite healthy. They dont eat to
many biscuits, crisps and cakes but more children
could eat fruit and vegetables. Year 1 We think
Year one are doing well with their healthy eating
they could eat a few more vegetables. Year
2 Year 2 are making a good start on eating well.
They eat a lot of fruit but they could eat less
crisps.
4- Upper School
- Year 3
- The most popular food in Year 3 was fruit.
- Year 4
- Year 4 are quite healthy, only 6 people had cake
and more had fruit - and vegetables. They could eat a few less
biscuits. - Year 5
- In Year 5 they do have fruit and vegetables for
lunch but they eat more fatty - foods than they should. We suggest they
eat more fruit and vegetables and - a few less treats.
- Year 6
- Year 6 do eat lots of fruit, to be healthier they
could cut down on the amount of - crisps they eat.
