Divisions in Judea
  • 63 B.C. Romans conquered Judea, where most of the
    Jews of the time lived.
  • Romans excused Jews from worshipping Roman gods.

  • Called on Jews to revolt against Rome and
    reestablish an independent state.

Spread of Christianity
