  • To understand the causation of high turnover
    rates between two large retailers
  • Turnover rate is defined as the ratio of the
    number of workers that had to be replaced in a
    given time period to the average number of
    workers.

Wal-Marts Background
  • It was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 and
    incorporated on October 31, 1969.
  • Wal-Mart is the largest private employer, the
    fourth largest commercial employer, and the
    largest grocery retailer as well as the largest
    toy seller in the United States.
  • Wal-Marts primary focus is selling branded
    products at low cost to lower and middle class
    consumers who can shop for products and save at
    the same time.

    bulk at low prices.
