Jesus Is Taken Before Pilate

• Matthew 271, 2
• Now when morning had come, all the chief priests
  and the elders of the people took counsel against
  Jesus to put Him to death and they bound Him,
  and led Him away, and delivered Him up to Pilate
  the governor.

Judas Feels Remorse

• Matthew 273
• Then when Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that
  He had been condemned, he felt remorse and
  returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief
  priests and elders,

Chief Priests and Elders Did not Feel Remorse

  that the tax-gatherers and harlots will get into
  the kingdom of God before you. For John came to

  took water and washed his hands in front of the

  know for certain that if you put me to death, you
  will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on
  this city, and on its inhabitants for truly the
  Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words
  in your hearing.
