and manages the teaching, learning and

students to greater heights in their studies and
progression to higher standards of education and

19Nomination, Selection Evaluation Process
Nomination
- ITE Teaching Staff with at least 3 years of
service are eligible for nomination for the ITE
Teacher Award. - Each college is to submit a maximum of 8
nominees - VTC and Northlight School, each is to be submit a
maximum of 2 nominees. - Each nomination is to have Nominators (eg Course
Manager, Section Head, staff or student) and be
recommended by Principals - A completed Nomination Package (or Portfolio)
with documents and evidences supporting the
nomination is to accompany each nomination - All Nomination Packages (or Portfolio) are to be
submitted by hand and under confidential cover to
DD/EDT.
20Nomination Evaluation Process
Evaluation
- The First Evaluation Committee chaired by DD/EDT
will shortlist the nominees by conducting a paper
evaluation based on the submitted evidences in
the Nomination Packages (or Portfolio). - For selection, the Committee will consider the
extent to which the submitted evidences have met
the scope as well as quality of each evaluation
criteria. - A Final Evaluation Panel chaired by DEC(A) with
DD/CED, DD/EDT and M/ED as members will interview
short-listed nominees.
