1Renaissance in Education
Innovative teaching methods
Enhancing learning effectiveness
Lifelong learning

youth!
KANA - educational NGO, est. in 1994. Original

disadvantaged families

chances of finding employment in new market

Solidarity Action for Central and Eastern Europe.
Over 6500 young beneficiaries so far...
Since 2001 - focus on innovative projects in the
field of ICT application in education
3Are Students Ready for a Technology-Rich World?
What PISA Studies Tell Us
... policy needs to turn its attention from
providing the technology to ensuring that its
usage is effective. This means ensuring that
teachers are appropriately trained and that ICT
usage is well integrated in the timetable and
curriculum.
Modern Information and Communications
Technologies (ICT) in nearly all schools in the
most advanced countries...
...but...
Above all, it is the quality of ICT usage,
rather than necessarily the quantity, that will
determine the contribution that these
technologies make to student outcomes.(...)
