Why I choose this project

• Use as a proof of concept to build a full scale
  repository
• I thought it would be fun
• Tie together some of the technologies that we
  have been introduced to over the course of this
  semester.

Technologies Used

• Perl Server side storage of files as well as
  generating the HTML for viewing thumbnails
• CSS Menu Options
• Javascript Off-loading graphics intensive
  operations to the client side

General Test Environment

Functionality - Future Versions

• Adding an administration page
• Testing of functionality with multiple users
• The ability to limit the type of content entered
  into the system.
• Categorization of content type.
• Storing of images directly in a database.

Lessons Learned

• Start as early as possible
• Spend at least 50 of your time designing
• Start very small, focus on the proof of concept
• More testing with a larger range of test data
  and test types
