- Up to ten (10) investments within the Investment
Justification for individual systems and up to
five (5) investments for regional projects
involving two or more eligible systems within the
region. - An Investment Justification template has been
created in Microsoft Excel use of the template
is not required, but is recommended - Must demonstrate the ability of the transit
agency or agencies to provide tangible, physical
security enhancements consistent with the purpose
of guidance provided by DHS. - Must be submitted by the SAA via grants.gov
portal by March 6, 2007. - Submission by the SAA constitutes certification
that the Investment Justification has been
approved by the SAA. Individual transit system
Investment Justifications do not need to be
coordinated with or approved by other transit
systems in the region, if there is more than one.
