• EC Green Paper on Common Market

• TDMA/MC/TDD Access Method
• Original band 1880 to 1900 MHz, 10 carriers
• 1.152 Mbit/s gross modulated bit rate per carrier
  with standard modulation
• 3.456 Mbit/s gross modulated bit rate per carrier
  with enhanced p/8 D8PSK modulation
• 10 ms frames providing 24 time-slots
• 250 mW peak TX power
• Dynamic Channel Selection/Allocation
• Terminal-directed seamless handover
• High level of security
