  • re-designed Field Experience and Student Teaching
    forms,
  • aligned existing Professional Behaviors with
    dispositions using the existing special ed rating
    scale.
  • Undergraduate Teacher Preparation--
  • ready to pilot this year for field/student
    teaching experiences
  • applicants now sign contract prior to admission
  • awareness of dispositions to be evaluated
    throughout the program and
  • continuation in program contingent on
    satisfactory professional behavior

  • Deaf Education--
  • incorporated in the handbooks being revised,
  • will discuss in seminars and individually with
    students when reviewing progress in the program.
  • The intent of piloting the forms this year is to
    determine
  • (a) clarity of indicators as measures of
    professionalism
  • (b) functionality of the evaluation descriptors
    and process
