Animated Border

• Open PowerPoint
• Select Title Slide layout
• Use the line tool on drawing tool bar to draw
  horizontal line across top of slide
• Use line style tool to change line width to 6
  (see screen shot below)
• Add lines to the right, bottom, and left,
  creating a rectangular border
• From the menu bar, select Slide Show ? Custom
  Animation (the Custom Animation task pane appears
  on the right)
• Click on the top line
• Click the Add Effect button
• Select Entrance ? Stretch (if Stretch is not
  visible, select More Effects Stretch is in the
  Moderate grouping)
• Set Start to On Click
• Set Direction to From Right
• Set Speed to Medium
• Click on left line
• Click the Add Effect button
• Select Entrance ? Stretch
• Set Start to After Previous
• Set Direction to From Top
• Set Speed to Medium
• Click on bottom line
