Associate members the rules
  • The Senior Associate Members are distinguished
    scientists that for their international expertise
    may contribute to the main directions of (future)
    project development.They can be invited to enter
    the project by the WP leaders during a
    Scientific and Technical Board (STB) meeting the
    presenter will introduce the putative Senior
    Associate Member and the community will vote for
    his/her inclusion (one vote for each partner of
    the project consortium). Associate members are
    also requested to actively participate to the
    project activity, promote and disseminate the
    project in their specific fields. When
    accepted, the new member is allowed to
    participate to the Scientific and Technical Board
    (STB).
  • The Associate Members are scientists which
    declare their interest in the Project activities
    and are willing to cooperate for the achievement
    of the project goals. They can be invited to
    enter the project by the WP leaders during a STB
    meeting the presenter will introduce the
    putative Associate Member and the community will
    vote for his/her inclusion (one vote for each
    partner of the project consortium). Associate
    Members partecipate to the activity of one of
    more worpackages and their activity is reported
    in the WP activity. Associate Members are
    invited to all schools, workshop and tutorials
    organized by the project.
  • The Scientific and Technical Board (STB) consists
    of the WP leaders, the project coordinator, the
    scientific coordinator, in addition to everyone
    from the project staff invited by the WP leaders,
    and the Associate Members (defined in ). The
    voting procedure within STB is of one vote for
    each contractor. This board is the ultimate
    advisory body within the project for all
    significant scientific and technical issues and
    its duty is to make recommendations to the PMB as
    described in the DOW.
  • ImmunoGrid User Community consists of all people
    interested in topics related to immunomics and
    the simulation of the (human) immune system. A
    dedicated area of the web site will be devoted to
    the User Community together with a dedicated
    forum.
  • Two/three mailing lists are defined for
    facilitating the communication within the
    project
  • immunogrid_internal reserved to the Project
    Management Board project staff
  • immunogrid addresses the STB
  • immunogrid_all for dissemination towards the
    general public, addresses the Immunogrid User
    Community
