9Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program
- There are two separate settlements
- Settlement Agreement between California consumers
and Microsoft Corporation - Resulted in The Education Technology K-12 Voucher
Program - Provides that two-thirds of the unclaimed amount
will be distributed to eligible schools through
vouchers
10Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program
- Settlement of CA Government Entity Class Action
against Microsoft - Settlement brought by California Government
entities. - Provide 70 million in vouchers to government
entities, including school districts. - Entity class members do not need to file an
application to obtain benefits. The vouchers
will be provided automatically. - All questions need to be directed to that
settlements Settlement Claims Administrator.

- This is a Court Settlement, Not a Grant!
- This is a Reimbursement Program through the use
of General Purpose Software Vouchers - No dollars/money is provided to eligible schools
- The Court Administrator is the only entity that
can guarantee that an item or service is
eligible/reimbursable
