nice. B) I do it because Im a bit afraid of
what would happened if I didn't. If you are a

In the lab you found that hanging 2 nuts from
hole 3 on the left side and one nut from hole 6
on the right side resulted in the balance being
level. Suppose you went to the moon and did
exactly the same experiment there. Describe what
you think would happen and why. A) It should
still work just because the moons gravity,
although different than the earths, will still
act on the nuts the same way. so they still
should balance. B) It would not balance because
gravity is different on the moon and thus would
effect the ratio of the weight on each side. C)
Well it would definitely not work in the same
way. Scales for the most part measure weight and
not mass because they rely on gravity to make the
measurement. D) The results might be different
due to the fact that there is no gravity on the
moon. However, the mass would be the same on the
moon. The weight is what would be different. E)
There's no gravity, but the balance might still
be level

What causes tides?  A) The gravitational pull
of the moon on the earth. B) The gravitational
pull of the sun on the earth. C) Both the pull
of the moon and of the sun thats why there are
two tides every day.
