- Maintain current high quality services to the
Nation while ensuring all understand the
importance of our products and services to the
safety and well-being of the American public. - Build an environment based on trust and respect,
where teamwork is valued and ideas and issues can
be raised and addressed quickly and objectively. - Strengthen relations with key stakeholders
especially the NWSEO, Emergency Management
Community, and the FAA. - Promote open relations between NWS senior
management and NOAA, DOC, OMB and Congress. - Develop an approach in concert with the weather
enterprise as a whole (government, academia,
private sector, and media) to guide future
direction of the NWS.
