of the Presidents Management Agenda simplifying
the lodging process for federal travelers and
saving the government money - FedRooms negotiates hotel rates on behalf of the
federal government in markets where government
travelers need to stay - FedRooms is the US Government hotel program.

5- The federal government (including the Department
of Defense) spends more than 2 billion on
lodging every year. - FedRooms leverages overall buying power to
negotiate the best hotel rates on behalf of the
federal government.

- Federal government employees can always use the
FedRooms Rate when on official travel - Select FedRooms properties also extend the rates

federal government travelers must first consider

- Limits the number of participating properties to
maximize market share - Provides priority listing in all government
contracted E-gov online booking tools - Fedrooms.com - direct access to hotel inventory
- Rate is not required to be commissionable to
travel agencies - Hotels pay only 2.75 on consumed net FedRooms
room nights - There is no fee to join!
- FedRooms markets program participating
properties to Federal travelers and agencies - Federal government business is recession proof
business!
9Requirements for participation
- FEMA certification and compliance mandatory
- Competitive rate at or below per diem
- No lower federal government rate
- 4pm day of arrival or later cancellation policy
- No deposit required
- No early departure fee
- Monthly reporting remittance
- Comply with terms conditions available on
fedrooms.com

11Program suspensions
- FedRooms rate is higher then GOV rate
- FedRooms rates not loaded
- Not reporting or remitting
