My information

• My name is Miss Sivo
• I am 23 Years old
• I am a student teacher at Woodrow Wilson
  Elementary School in Westfield, New Jersey.
• I love spending time with children, they give me
  a sense of energy and happiness.
• I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University
  with my Bachelors Degree in English Literature.
• I am currently still attending Fairleigh
  Dickinson University to receive my Masters
  Degree in Elementary education

Things I like to do

• I love to spend quality time with family and
  friends.
• I enjoy going to Cape Cod for vacation. (I go
  every summer)
• I love the warm climate of the summer.
• I love teaching and being around children.
• I love to dance. (I took ballet, pointe,
  gymnastics, jazz, and many others for thirteen
  years.)
• I even taught dance for 4 years.
• I like to cook and bake.

Things Im proud of

• I am proud to have graduated with my bachelors
  degree and that I am almost done with my Masters
  degree.
• I was on ESPN for a cheerleading competition when
  I was in college. We won first place in the
  co-ed small group division.
• I was on the Deans list during college.
• I am proud to be a teacher.

Name Game

• We are going to play a little game.

• I am going to introduce my little friend. His
  name is Froggy.

• We are gently going to toss Froggy from one
  person to another.

• When you get Froggy you have to say your first
  name and an adjective that describes you.

• The trick is that the adjective has to start with
  the same letter as first letter of your first name

• I will start first Smiley Susan

• First, repeat your name to the class
• Then, tell us what your favorite thing to do is
• Tell us what your favorite color is.
• Do you have pet? If so what kind?
• How many people do you have in your family? Who
  are they?
• Last, tell us one special thing about yourself
  that you would like to share.

My classroom

• First thing to know about my classroom is that I
  like to have fun and I want you to have fun. At
  the same time, there needs to be an understanding
  that when I need you to work, you need to focus
  and get it done.

• I like my classroom to be neat and organized.
  This means that you need to clean up after
  yourself. The neater your work area is the neat
  the entire class will be.

Classroom Rules

• Please be respectful of one another. Treat
  others the way you want to be treated.
• Keep all hands to ones self.
• If you have a comment or question raise your hand
  and wait to be called on. There is NO calling
  out.
• Do not leave the classroom without telling me
  where you are going.
• Absolute silence when walking through the halls
  and during fire drills.
• When I do the signal for no talking, within
  thirty seconds I should have no talking.

Note We will discuss these in more details and
we will even add some more that you agree on.

Final Product
If everyone follows the rules of the classroom
and follows directions I am sure that this class
will be a success. We will all fit together like
a puzzle. Right now you may not know everyone.
We are all individual puzzle pieces and in a week
or so we will become a puzzle that was put
together. The harder we work, the quicker we
will succeed.
