  • 360 type feedback assessments
  • Personality and leadership style assessments
  • Clear strategies for remedial help and
    compassionate exit strategies
  • Review of the Annual Assessments by SPR and clergy

  • The Birkman tool is recommended.
  • Has been used for over 50 years.
  • Only take it once.

    be given to complainant by all superintendents.
    Calls on complainant to clarify how wronged.

Steps to better clergy assessment.
  • Simplify form to be used by the PPR
  • Complete clergy self-assessments/ PPR earlier in
    the year.
  • Remove move indicator from the assessments
    (happen later)
  • Recommend a simple, standardized clergy
    assessment by superintendent also.
