The Fruit Of The SpiritThe Fruit of the Spirit
is the manifestation of the maturity of a
believer. The work of the Holy Spirit in our
lives is to express the character of Jesus Christ
through us. This is pictured in the Bible as
being like the fruit of a plant. Jesus used the
vine of a plant to illustrate an important
principle (John 155)The fruit of the Spirit
grows out of our relationship with Jesus. A
branch (the believer) cannot bear fruit unless
it is joined to the stem/vine (Jesus Christ).
The vine is where the life giving nutrients
abide.

mentioned in Gal. 522-23 are not just the
natural products of circumstances around us.
Even when things are going wrong, the life of the
Holy Spirit inside can well up in an overflowing
expression of these fruit (John 738-39).

The Fruit of The Spirit is LoveLove is the
giving of yourself for the good of another. The
greatest expression of love is found in the Lord.
John 316 says, For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten Son.The fruit of
love is an expression through the Holy Spirit of
Gods own nature of love, and the quality of that
love is described beautifully in (1 Cor 134-7).
Different Kinds of LoveStergein is the
natural, gravitational love an instinctive
concern for ones offspring. This love is found
in animals and humans (Rom. 131 2 Tim. 31-3).

The Fruit of The Spirit is Love Eros is a
sexual, passionate (and often lustful and
perverted) love. In Greek mythology Eros was the
son of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and
beauty. This kind of love says I love you as
long as.Phileo is the brotherly and
friendly love. This is the love that Jonathan
had for David (1 Sam. 181). From the root word
Phileo we get Philadelphia city of brotherly
love. This kind of love says I love you
because..Agapao is a divine love, found
only in God. This love is not dependent upon the
beauty of the object being loved. It is found
320 times in the Greek New Testament, but rarely
in classical writings (Rom. 58 John 316).

Holy Spirit is not dependent on happy situations,
but on the character of God. People in the world
are searching for happiness, but the answer is
found only in the supernatural joy of the Holy
Spirit.

The Fruit of The Spirit is PeacePeace with God
(Rom. 51) Positional peace is given to all
believers at the moment of their salvation
experience. This is relationship peace with
God.Peace of God (Phil. 47 Psalm 48 John
1427) This is fellowship peace with God.Peace
is that quality which everyone desires but only
the child of God can truly experience. It is the
peace of God Himself the God of Peace (Rom.
1533) that has been given to us, and is
designed to operate even in times of turmoil
(John 1427).And the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
