Mission of the Toastmasters Club
  • The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide
    a mutually supportive and positive learning
    environment in which every member has the
    opportunity to develop communication and
    leadership skills, which in turn foster
    self-confidence and personal growth.

Goal One Goal Two
  • Two CC
  • Two members achieve complete the first 10
    speeches in the Basic Manual.
  • One Member may accomplish a new CC each year for
    each club they belong to.
  • Two more CC
  • Two different members in your club complete the
    first 10 speeches.

Goal Three and Four
  • One ACB, ACS or ACG
  • Complete two advances manuals of 5 speeches each.
  • ACS
  • Conduct any two programs from the Better Speakers
    Series or the Successful Club Series
  • ACG
  • Conduct a Success/Leadership, Success/Communicatio
    n or a Youth Leadership Program.
  • One more ACB, ACS or ACG
  • This can apply to the same member.
  • Speeches count only if there is one other
    Toastmaster available to give a written
    evaluation.

Goals Five and Six
  • One CL, ALB, ALS or DTM
  • CL Competent Leader
  • Complete the 10 Projects in the Competent Leader
    Manual
  • ALB Advanced Leader Bronze
  • Complete your CL and complete your CC.
  • Serve 6 months as a Club Officer
  • Participate in District Educational Events.
  • Conduct two programs in the Successful Club
    Series and/or Leadership Excellence Series
  • ALS Advanced Leader Silver
  • Advances Leadership Bronze
  • Served a term as a District Officer
  • Completed High Performance Program
  • Serve as a successful club sponsor, coach or
    mentor.
  • DTM Distinguished Toastmasters
  • One More CL, ALB, ALS or DTM

Goals Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten
  • Four New Members
  • Four More New Members
  • Four Officers Trained twice a year
  • Membership dues renewal report and one club
    officer list submitted on time.
  • October and Marchs membership report must be
    received at WHQs before 5pm on 10/10 or 4/10.
  • Elected Officer List must be at WHQ before July
    7th.

Membership Requirements
  • Minimum of 20 members
  • A Net growth of at least five new members

  • An attractive ribbon from World Headquarters
  • A Congratulatory letter from World Headquarters
  • The Club Officers are invited to the Club
    Leadership Luncheon held during the International
    Convention in August.

  • WHQs sends out to the President every three
    months where the club is in the DCP Program.

The Club Success Plan
  • Planning
  • Helps your club determine how it is going to meet
    the 10 established goals
  • Allows it to establish additional goals of its
    own.
  • Outlines strategies for achieving the goals
  • Identifies resources your club may use in its
    efforts
  • Has spaces for you to write assignments, develop
    a timetable and track accomplishments

Steps to Success
  • For each officer,
  • Set goals and assign responsibilities to each
    individual
  • Form committees to accomplish goals
  • Review goals and timetables to ensure the plan is
    being followed according to schedule
  • Check the WHQ results with your clubs actual
    accomplishments
  • Be prepared to discuss the DCP with the Area
    Governor twice a year.
