MISSION USPI-NL

• As a mission of national and international
  companies in the Netherlands to co-ordinate a
  programme for the development and implementation
  of ISO/STEP standards for the process- and power
  industry.
• With the purpose
• To improve their competitive power and position
  in the world market.

VISION OF USPI-NL

• In a period of 5 years from 1997
• A majority i.e. 60 of process and power industry
  use STEP standards for the exchange of product
  data.
• An additional 30 has a strategy for the
  implementation of STEP standards.
• Leading software producers and advising
  conmpanies are STEP certified.
• Universities and training institutes have
  included STEP in their curriculae.
