My inheritance needs to be seen in context. Money
in not worth as much in the 21st century as it
was in the 16th century. One pound then is equal
to 300 pounds now. So all you do is multiply the
sums I talk about by 300

pounds. This equates to 375 million
It only took me 9 years to spend it though, what
with banquets, displays of chivalry, houses,
castles, and my annual progress. I had to raise

Gold in Val dOr (The Golden Vale) with Francis
1 cost me millions. It was called the 8th wonder
