The idea of a data cloud over Bethnal Green
fits the theology, according to Father Alan,
who sees his Church as a resource that should
bring together everyone in his diverse
parish. Although there are rather stifling
characteristics of our present age and society
that push us towards individualism, and
materialism, there are still communities of
resistance or individual urges towards something
else, Father Alan says. And I do think it' s
the church's job to be in contact with those and
to be nurturing them.
