ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University (UHSR) is also
an autonomous public state higher education
institution. Established in 2008, UHSR Rohtak is
popular for its dental, ayurvedic, medical,
physiotherapy, and pharmacy courses. Moreover,

University Grants Commission accredited Pt BD
Sharma University. As a matter of fact, UHSR
achieved an overall higher grade A by the

HISTORY
Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University (UHSR), as a
matter of fact, was established on 2nd June 2008.
Nevertheless, the state government of Haryana
gave UHSR the status of a state university on
18th August 2008 via Act 26. As the name
suggests, UHSR was also named the first Prime
Minister of Haryana, Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma.
To emphasize, he was popularly known as Pandit Ji
and was the governor of Odisha and Madhya Pradesh.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Undoubtedly, UHSR (Pt BD Sharma University), has
a well-developed building as well as modern
infrastructure facilities. Moreover, the Health
University Rohtak has a sustainable five story
medical college spread across an area of
12722-metre squares. Therefore, UHSR has an
efficient infrastructure where all the students

spacious library with 43439 books including 995
reference books and 42444 general books. As a
matter of fact, the library has a subscription to
about 49 national and 179 international
journals.  Auditorium On the whole, the
auditorium of the Health University Rohtak has a
well-structured auditorium along with a
centralized air conditioning system. Moreover,
the auditorium has proper audio-visual equipment
with an overall seating capacity of 1250
persons.

COURSES OFFERED

• Bachelors Course As a matter of fact, UHSR
  Rohtak offers admission in various undergraduate
  programs across the medical, dental, pharmacy
  streams. Moreover, the most popular courses are
  Bachelors of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Bachelors of
  Ayurveda, Medicine Surgery (BAMS), Bachelors of
  Dental Surgery (BDS), and Bachelors of
  Psychiotherapy. Nevertheless, UHSR also offers
  admission on an entrance based mode. In other
  words, each candidate must have a valid score
  card of NEET to be eligible for these
  undergraduate courses. In addition to this,
  Health University Rohtak also offers a short term
  three-year diploma in Medical Lab Technology.
