9Pre-CAPT/CAPT Activities
- All ninth grade students will take a Pre-CAPT.
- All tenth graders must take the State CAPT .
- Eleventh graders who did not reach proficiency
in reading, writing and /or math, must also
retake the sections that they have not yet
reached proficiency. - Twelfth graders who did not yet reached
proficiency will - take the alternative CAPT, which is
offered several - times during their senior year.
- All students must reach proficiency in reading
and - writing in order to graduate from East
Windsor High - School.

12Summer Reading
- Honor level students will be given a list of
books which support their course work for summer
reading. Their assessment (for example, a book
report) will include CAPT- like activities. - All other level students will be given an
opportunity to read and share a summer reading
book of their choice with their English class in
September.
