• VISION To make IEEE a global resource of choice
  for Educational Products and Services
• MISSION To achieve our vision we intend to serve
  the public, the profession, and our members in a
  technically excellent and financially responsible
  manner.

How to do this?

• Make EAB a facilitating organization for RAB,TAB
  and PSPB.
• Create an environment of cooperation and synergy
  between organizations.
• Continue to strengthen IEEE outreach.

• SECTIONS CONGRESS RECOMMENDATIONS
• Provide a more diverse and robust selection of
  web-based tutorials (with TAB) including emerging
  technologies.
• Xplore Inititative
• Develop a comprehensive set of programs to
  promote public awareness of engineering, starting
  at elementary school. (with IEEE-USA)
• Establishment of PAC
• PECC on-going activities
• Engage industry, academia, and governments to
  promote life-long learning through compensation,
  continuing education and professionalism of the
  engineer (with RAB)

Staff Accomplishments

• Xplore Initiative Jill Bagley, Marilyn Catis,
  Rozanna,Fanelli working with Apex, will complete
  prototypes development and testing by 31
  December.
• Pre-college Doug Gorham was invited to Regions
  3, 7 and 8 to promote pre-college education
  programs gobally.
• SPC and Awards Rae Toscano and Karen
  Kleinschmidt successfully completed coordination
  of new EAB strategic plan and awards ceremony.
• Finance Pat Sammarco managed the budget
  development and implementation, and deployed a
  new time tracking system.

• CGAA Sharon Strock successfully coordinated
  Global Accreditation meeting in Finland.
• Accrediation Carolyn Solimine managed the APC
  activities and successfully participated as an
  observer in an engineering technology program
  evaluation in SUNY Morrisville.
