Coach Glenn's Energy Efficient HouseThis house
has its foundation walls made with styrofoam
forms and concrete poured on the inside of the
forms, helping to insulate a great deal.

Coach Glenn's Energy Efficient HousePicture here
showing that the house does not look any
different than a typical concrete wall poured
foundation. Cost of this style of foundation is
roughly four dollars more a square foot.
3
Coach Glenn's Energy Efficient HouseHere are
some samples of the styrofoam forms that were
used to construct Coach Glenn's house.
4
Coach Glenn's Energy Efficient HouseHere is the
solar heat exchanger in the basement of the
house. This hot water is used for taking
showers, baths, and any other needs for warm
water.
5
Coach Glenn's Solar Panels at his business.
These panels are used to heat the shop floor of
the business. They are very efficient for
heating his floor. Coach Glenn had stated that
this system will pay for itself within the first
eight years of operation.

Weise Brothers FarmsThis building is where the
boiler and turbine are stored.
8
Boiler and Combustor BuildingInside this
building is where the manure gets burned and
combusted. Shown below is a picture and
explanation of the waste that is saved.4,500
Tank Trucks of Manure per year Reduced to 90
Trailers of Ash that can be used for fertilizer.
9
Full Bio Dryer MechanismThis picture is showing
the manure being dried somewhat, only to the
point that it still has enough moisture in the
manure so that as it is burned can still produce
enough steam to turn the turbine to create energy.
10
Boiler tank where the manure is burned.
11
The actual steam turbine. This is the turbine
that spins from the steam that has been created
from burning a somewhat dried/wet manure to
create the electricity.
12
Mixing wet manure and dry manureBoth of these
are carefully mixed to create the perfect
mixtures of manure to be burned.
