Service Background

• Firewalls, database servers and gigabit
  connections have created a need for single
  connections that must route traffic for multiple
  VLANs.
• NOC has 20 Firewall, Multi-VLAN services, to
  date, with no formal tracking system in place.
• Requests for additional Multi-VLAN services
  continue to be fielded by the NOC.

Service Description

• The Multi-VLAN service provides up to six VLANs
  on a single 100mbps or Gigabit data NAM.
• Monthly cost 6/mo/NAM for 2 -6 VLANs

• Uses an SLA to explain services and costs
  (similar to the SLA for the SSL VPN Service)

  and servers that span multiple VLANs

• Promotes efficient use of CAT-5 data NAM network
